Steps:
- On your hands and knees, place hands directly under the shoulders.
- Press your hands down into mat evenly. Middle finger points forward with all the other fingers spread apart evening. Press down through the four finger roots and spread the thumbs to point towards each other.
- Place knees directly under hips. Remember in yoga, hip width is “sit bone” width apart.
- Keep cervical spine in alignment with the rest of your spine.
Modifications and Props
If this asana hurts your knees, place a folded blanket under them for cushion.
